Hey guys, i got bored of my standard wheels and thought it was a time for a change. I have always had my eyes on these and thought i would treat myself. Honest opinions please

Old

New

Ive just ordered some rim blades too, i need to keep these wheels mint cos living on a terraced street is a nightmare and those kerbs arents exactly the wheels best friennd, hope they do the trick and are not just another scam. Anybody heard anything about these or any experience with these. Alloy wheel protection? Rimblades, high quality, self adhesive, easy to fit.

They are RS6 replicas made by Riva. They are the good Italian makes as opposed to cheap Chinese makes. I am very happy with them. I just need to look after them now!

I never heard of rimblades before either, but I wanted some sort of rim protector and after doing a bit of research, I chose these over alloygator and other similar types. They seem to be simple to fit and I just hope they do the job, as long as I don't damage my wheels I don't care. I'll let you know how I get on with em

Definately made a huge difference fella, set the car off nicely

The wheels look great. Just need to close the gap in the wheelarches a little now ;)

Looks much better just totally transforms the car !
Nice :)

Yeh I know wot u mean bout the gap. I'll c how I get on like this for now.

Next mod is the carbon fibre dtm spoiler which is waiting to go on!

wheels look good not on the a4 tho
and dont put the rim blades on they will make it look quite ****

Sorry have to agree with Bez, lowering the car will help but they are too modern for the B7 Saloon, have seen them on an Avant & they look better but still not good.

Fair enuf, I'm happy wiv em tho so it'll do me. I've just spent a good couple of hours givin the car some tlc seen as though the sun was out. I always fall bak in love wiv da car after a good wash, and the wheels r still shining like new!

I'm gna giv da rim blades a try and see how thy look, if thy dnt look good then I'll rip em off but I hav to do summat to look after the wheels.

just dont go near kurbs easy

Easier said than done not Goin near kerbs. I Wörk stupid hours including nights and there is never any Parkin on street, I always rush cos im knackered and end up scratching em. I am a bit sceptical about em but will persevere and see how I get on!

Fair comment mate! Just thought he might have shed a year but obviously not haha!

Theres a thread on 8P bout rim blades. They can come off at speed and damage your paint.

Nice wheels btw

Your new wheels look a lot better then the standard item you had on them.
Now that i am a bit older and wiser I have decided not to lower my car and close the gap as it messes up the ride handling. I know it does not look as good as a lowered car, but to compromise my ride quallity over looks is just not for me anymore, done that got the T-shirt if you get my drift. Mind you I was considering air ride, but at about 3 grand!!!!! maybe not.

not a fan of the wheels, look a bit gash and misplaced tbh.

if you keep curbing your wheels id just be honest with yourself and buy a 4x4 so you can attack the curbs and speed humps all day with nothing but pleasure and a care free attitude.

I'd love a 4x4 and if I cud afford one I wud but I'll hav to make do wiv this for now which ain't bad!!

See if it was a s line, then it would be slightly lower anyway and not have as much of an arch gap, maybe consider the s line suspension? But it's your car at the end of the day so do as you please

Good call bigrich i have a set of s line springs sat in the garge if your intrested ? Would drop yours 20mm and still retain ride quality if thats your concern ! The springs have covered 30k and came off a 2.0t avant but will fit others. Drop me a pm if your interested mate.

I had da s line springs put on first so it is lower than it originally was, but still not enuf. However the ride is much better, was quite bouncy before!

Those pics are with s line springs !?! Seems very high for s line set up ?

I know its an avant but this is how my s line sat as std when i bought it years ago !

No offense mate but how high was it before !?!

Looks good, I think the darker cars pull those little spoilers off, everyone keeps telling me to get one but I'm not gonna get one, but it does look good on your car, I hope that isn't your last mod (you'll think of more mods lol)

I'm hoping it is my last mod cos its getting expensive! Do don't tempt me ok!!

And get urself this spoiler, it's awesome. I've seen a silver DTM with one of these on and it looks fine so I think you'll b rite!!
