Are the coolant problems more recent than the NZ dealer pre-sales doc from the OP? If not, that'd be the most recent (accurate?) info from Audi right now and prob the best indicator for the relevance of the earlier leaked release schedule.

Sorry mate. I wasn't having a go. A year ago I would've agreed with you completely but the TTRS debacle makes me think NO-ONE, even the product managers at Audi can say when a car will happen. Hence your notion that we could expect something logical from Audi has become a bit of a personal...
Because all indicators point to a smooth, well planned and timely roll-out of an ALL NEW PLATFORM based RS3... LOL
Didn't it take them 3 years to get an 8V RS3 to market?

Definitely no world exclusive from me. In isolation, I'm not even giving the info much credence. In my experience, dealers will tell you whatever they need to, to get a sale.
But this thread seems the perfect place to collate such tidbits in case those in 'no man's land' find it of...

Well FWIW, autobild.de is reporting FL SB to premiere at Paris in Oct, saloon at LA in Nov.

1. I occasionally drive at night - and ever since candles in a jar, every improvement in headlight tech has been a good thing. Matrix's approach seems to be a good way to overcome some limitations of passive headlight beams.
2. Sightline for any instrumentation directly in front of driver is...
Well, fwiw that fits with what I was also told back in Feb ie: week 22 changeover for A3/S3 and week 29 for RS3. Those dates seemed to have ended up quite accurate for A3 (& S3?) so fingers crossed I guess.

"We also 90% sure that the TT RS is going to be subject towards the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show also." Mmm...
Personally, I think it's just junk clickbait. Probably lightly reworded google translation of something published 2 years ago.

I think they recently killed that Golf project. But yes there is speculation a 400hp EA888 will one day be an Audi engine.

Based on what we've seen with A3/S3 FL, you would only wait if you really wanted:
virtual cockpit
MIB-2 (CarPlay/Android Auto)
tweaked automation/safety tech
matrix LEDs
dynamic indicators and other cosmetic revisions
saloon
(did I miss anything?)
Of course, this is assuming what we've seen...
I agree with @AudiNutta. It's an odd label to use. In reality I don't think you have a deal that will stick with all the current unknowns until you can get "or equivalent MY2017 product improvement" in writing as per verbal. Good luck! Watching with interest.
