Thats the conclusion, I am coming to, too many hand-offs and prioritisation before reaching the factory. We must be on the bottom of the list for order priority.

Playing Devils advocate here there may not be a facelift at all, as an eg Audi have said R8 Production will stop in 2023, I imagine Audi could pull the plug on the whole RS line at any time and concentrate on EV type stuff especially as speed limits keep reducing and speed limiters are installed by law

Ordered my 1st Car JCT600 Lincoln 9/8/21 (Vorsprung Kemora SB) But Cancelled end of October Due to lack of Dealer Communication and offered Discount Through Boundless so reordered 20/10/21 No word on my New order but looks as if although returning my Deposit JCT600 kept my order for Stock as I've had a few emails over the last few weeks from Audi UK with last one yesterday informing me that my "RS3 is carefully wrapped up, safe and sound on board our ship to the UK" So if JCT haven't already sold it should be a Kemora SB for sale on there web site soon (No Doubt at an inflated Price) Not sure if you want to add this one to the Spreadsheet

I never enter into the political side of things too many variables but Nobody has a crystal ball as they say but l do think the RS3 8Y will be updated in a few ways during its production
Maybe, but I doubt it'll be as much of a facelift as we've seen in the past unless they're planning on using the platform for A3 EVs again or push the hybrids a lot. Even then we may see the RS3 stay the same beyond the normal model facelift for a while as it's done in the past and potentially not get the facelift.
As you say, there's no crystal ball and it could end up either way. I'm hoping for no facelift though so we can keep our residuals higher.
Will add both, one as JCT600 and the other as Real Thing. SB Vorsprung Kemora Gray for both ?
JCT600 will milk it for max.

Both Orders Kemora Grey but considering getting it Wrapped Merlin Purple (or similar) when it arrives although still not sure if I'll be able to bring myself to part with my 4 1/2 Year Old Stage 3 Golf R (Less Than 10,000 Miles Nearly ever Option Ticked and over £20K in Mods)

Be as bad as Hydrogen, they’ve been trying to get that safely into mainstream motoring for years.
There’s even a ‘few’ filling stations around but very few vehicles running on it.

ello ellos fella's need some help, my cars in transit as the dealer says, I want to track when it will arrive in the uk the only thing I know is that it's coming from emden ?
You can't track it per se. You can use www.marinetraffic.com to guess which ship it's on but there's no definitive way to tell. Audi use a few ports of entry to the UK. Grimsby being one, Tyne another and Sheerness as the third. Not sure whether they still use all three but geographical port to the supplying dealer isn't as indicator as to which port it will enter.

The port of entry isn't necessarily linked to dealership geography. My first S3 come in through Tyne and then went to a dealer near London.

Search Port (Grimsby) then arrivals and EMS Highway is due from Emden
Or any of these but I suspect only the 'red' painted ones, the last one from Emden--Grimsby was the Wesser Highway, the EMS Highway is on the same route now, i'm sure my Golf came in on the Isar Highway

I thought it was only the sale of new vehicles where petrol/diesel was the sole source of fuel, so we’ll still get hybrids.

2035 is EV only if nothing is changed. 2030 hybrid only so no ICE alone.

Yeh it went from 'It's left the factory' to 'its still waiting to leave the factory' to 'its almost in the UK'.... (No idea!)
If you zoom in on Emden this is the Thames Highway in Emden at the moment, the roads next to it in the Port should give a clue as to its next cargo?
