Used up all my Angelwax cleanliness prewash bottles for my winter wash routine. This has helped to breakdown all that salty road grime.
Used around 5.1 mix, found this okay for moderate flith but if I left the car longer than a 2 weeks then a top up of 250ml BH surfex HD degreaser was added to the mix.
Not bothering using it all year round.
But definitely a great buy for winter use.
Results speak for themselves.
@jassyo06 Thanks for the recommendation back in August.
Av been using it as if it where going out of fashion mate lol its great stuff and good value for money

Back to square one (again)
Car was filthy yesterday so did a Prewash > washed > and left it to drip dry.
Today washed it again > towel dried > QD spray finish.
Hopefully last more than a week since winter is over for a week or two.

That is some commitment mate, mine is filthy, but hoping to give it a nice clean over weekend ahead of 2 weeks away in the sunshine

Perfect weather to spend some time on the car.

How is the Simonz back to black tyre shine? I'm not sure how effective it is spraying it on rather than brushing or wiping on. My AutoGlym Tyre Dressing has nearly ran out, and whilst I love the product, I've never used anything else.

Back to black is great for a quick fix and gives a good wet look- but it does not last that long. You better off sticking with the Autoglym stuff. Try the tyre gel it's getting some good feedback, I will probably go for that next.

Couldn't be bothered to give the car it's usual proper wash and attention to detail.
Prewashed sprayed and left to dwell for about 10 minutes, rinsed off then lightly went over with a wash mitt, then rinsed again and left to drip dry.
This photo shows the before and after shots.
Had a bit of motivation to quickly go over the interior since l was sheltered from the elements.
Lastly cleaned the key fobs and treated them to a new Audi keyring!

Tried BH auto foam today with the pump sprayer. Filled up to 5 litres with around 250ml of auto foam. Not sure how much l would need to get the best results. So went full on.
Found that 2.5 litres of this was enough to go around and coat the car, break down and losen the dirt. Note the car was not what I would call flithy since it has been fairly dry since its last wash.
Left to dwell for around 10 minutes and rinsed off. Noticed it reacted well with the rinse. Grabbing more dust pollen and dirt. The results are very good, leaving the paintwork mostly clear of grime and prepped for the next stage.
I left it to see how it would dry. see before, during and after pictures.
It's looking good value for the money also. Would say you could get 40 prewashes in spring and summer and 20 in winter from 5l container.
Always been a fan of most of Bilt Hamber products and deserves a place on my detailing shelf hall of fame.
Ran out of the BH claybar and double speed wax which should also be on this shelf.

6 months since its last machine polish. So time for a spring clean.
Managed to get the car polished using the sonax profiline perfect finish and finished off with poor boys natty blue paste.
The sonax polish went on great, no splash or dusting, little went along way and it buffed off very easily.
Not to sure about the natty blue. I think my tub may have been dodgy. When I used a knife to spread it on the pad it seemed dry and chalky when spreading. Carried on regardless and the wax buffed up good enough.

One of those jobs been putting off for a long while now.

Since removal off those leftover foam balancing pads on all the alloys. It was ready to clean and seal the wheels.. Alloys prepped with BH auto wheel and some tar remover to remove some stubborn black spots which were missed previously.
Then it was ready to try the planet polish wheel & shine.
Not forgetting to pull off the bolt caps and give then a clean also. These were filthy.
3 coats of sealant later. Much later..
All done!

Wheels look amazing but l couldn't be ***** applying coats and coats of wheel Sealant to wheels, rather take em off and apply a ceramic on them mate, but great job
Top work as always @A4A4, I have used PP myself, but alloys now coated with GTechniq C5 which is performing very well so far

You just my be surprised at how good this product is
Still if you've got the time to remove each wheel one at a time, then decontaminate each wheel before application of some over priced ceramic coating & then re attach each wheel, feel free

Wheel sealants are just that av polished/waxed my wheels numerous times whilst on the car and its a PITA, so I prefer once a year to take the wheels off and do it properly, there's also the **** easy way to seal your wheels whilst on the car with just a couple of sprays of wet coat etc etc then rinse, but a ceramic coating is defo the far superior way to coat the wheels and its only £20 for a guaranteed one years protection. .. You'll never get the same results and durability of any wheel coating whilst they are on the car physically impossible

Very, very easy to apply went on smoothly, just gave them a light dusting of Planet Polish, didn't need to use much of it, loads left. Looking to be great value for money.
Happy with the finish looks brill! even like new, not bad for alloys coming up 5 years old!
Yes, the initial 3 coats took a while but worth the effort. It now has good base protection with only need of 1 top up coat once every month.
That's the plan anyway.

After used daily and clocked up nearly 180 miles. Thought I would see how the PP wheel seal + shine performs.
Past days conditions dry and hot.
Here is how the front alloy looks.
Swiped a dry MF cloth very lightly over the dirty alloy and the brake dust and muck came away very easily.
Finished off with QD mix spray on quarter of the wheel. Left the rest until it gets a wash either by me or the heaven's. Which ever comes first..
So far it seems to be really good stuff and a worthy buy.

Bought both of these for around £11 all in. Sonax cockpit cleaner matt effect and Sonax leather care cream. So for that price I was not expecting much, I was shocked..
Cockpit cleaner was really good at removing dust, water spots and stains from the interior plastic trims, dash and doors. It also left a pleasant lemon smell. Went on great and left a matt finish.
The sonax leather care was just as good. Not too shiny on the leather and restored it back to it's former glory.
Not bad for £11 and loads left for many applications, fantastic find and value.
These Sonax products are seriously good.

My MMI display has lots of hair line scratches on it and some of the anti-glare coating on the screen is coming off in places.
Best way for me to tackle this is to remove the anti-glare coating fully. This will remove those hair line scratches also.
Used Plast- RX for this job.
With aid from a couple of MF cloths, cotton buds, pads and masking tape.
Little worried about rubbing the polish all over the screen but once buffed off the scratches were quickly removed.
More time was taken to remove all the coating but the end results were great.
The MMI screen looks 100% better, like new. Not noticing any problems with glare either.
Worth a try if you have any scratches on your MMI display. But you have to go the whole hog and take anti-glare coating off otherwise you will have a patches on the screen.
Also used PLAST-RX to polish the front and rear lights which removed discolouring, stubborn water marks, stains and light scratches.
