By senior I meant longer established members of ASN rather than the senior citizen type

@TDI-line - You may not remember but 4 members were banned for a week around a year ago for continually gif'erising posts (& some other 'issues')

The reason for this? We have had some members leave the site as they were sick & tired ofthe continual wrecking of threads with excessive use of gif's. I've had loads of email & PM's from more senior ASN members complaining of the damn gif's & turning threads into a banter fest

They just wreck threads & you have to scroll thro'l oads of rubbish to find the actual content

I don't mind a bit of banter in thread, but not at the expense of the thread.

Like the badges mate, I'm planning on changing the red to a blue very similar to Ara Blue (including sparkle) once it arrives. Need to check the swatch against the car as it's near on £25 a metre so want to make sure it's a close enough match!

Yeah, using vinyl. I'll take a pic of mine when it arrives then make a copy of it on the laptop and cut it on the vinyl cutter.

Yeah chose a good builder who only does one build at a time combined with me project managing it whilst doing my day job helped. Five weeks early and within budget is not bad going when +10% contingency is fairly normal for a self build. The quality is good too (phew!). Main issues were with utilities. Scottish Water are as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike and BT, well don't get me started on them. But otherwise went ok in the scheme of things.

Hope that bloke gets his finished soon. Sounds like he'll be living the bachelor lifestyle lol
