Feva's A4 Black Edition

Not much to update. Give it a clean this morning to remove 1.5 tons of dead fleas from a recent trip. Snow foamed it and the car was clean. The collinite 845 wax is certainly living up to its reputation. Washed it anyway 2 bucket method, water had no muck in it at all

The longer I'm having this car the more I'm loving it. Recent road trip so so comfortable to drive. Cruise control much more of an improvement over the bmw.

Wheres the pics :p
I know Chris thought that as soon as I'd posted.

Never snapped any before and after cleaning, should of really and (as you know) looks mega white black edition.

Tuesdays pre back to work maintenance wash pics I promise (if it's not raining)

Seeing you tackle your engine bay has prompted me to give mine the once over, the wife always says I'm mental for doing the bay "no-one sees it!" that doesn't matter.

Well no washing of the car today. Too clean still. But plenty of sunbathing in the back garden.

This is how clean she currently is

What percentage tint did you get on yours dude? Seriously considering it, just dont want it to look non-factory by being too dark or attract unwanted attention

it's 20‰ which the guy said is factory tint level

Looks really nice imo.

This is the guy I used, used him for all my cars (Paul). Should of been £135 but as I've used him before he did it for £120.
Top bloke.

Thats not too bad for 7 windows. Is that 20% film or 20% including the original glass?

You dont have a pic from side on do you?

Believe it's 20‰ film (but I might be wrong) 2 secs I'll snap a pic for you.

When looking straight through it looks slightly darker, angle one shows individual window tint

Is there any on the front at all?
No Chris just rear doors back over. Was thinking of a 5‰ tint for the front sides but not worth getting pulled by the rozzas.

Lad who I'd been introduced to who sells car cleaning stuff gave me a few bits to try today when I popped in to buy a bottle of collinite 845 wax.

Don't know the brand find out later but got extreme snow foam (best stuff I've ever used really thick and clinged for ages)

Snow foamed, rinsed, fallout remover (again not sure of the make)

Wheels mega mega clean (didn't need to wash them) better than bilt hamber stuff I've used before.

Snow foamed again, rinsed

Used shampoo have gave me to try as well (I'll find out all these makes and post later)

All done and it ****** down once I'd dried it so not time for fresh coat of wax

Wife's a3 2010 2.0tdi black edition MOT today. Passed no advisorys. Brakes 99% efficient <1‰ in balance. Emissions spot on (well we won't talk about the Nox)

Happy days considering she never slows down for speed bumps.

Looking well.

Mine was neglected for a week and a half and even after a jet wash and snow foam the water turned really dark. poor car. I actually felt bad!

Still need to run down and sort your coding out too!

Yeah Daz bought some more off the lad who's selling cleaning products the other day. I also got some xtract fallout remover off him 5l cost price (amazing stuff) cleaned them with that and just stuck a coat of collinite on them, it (imo) goes on really well. I know other's use particular stuff for wheels but really like collinite.

What polish do you use under the wax? Just bought myself a White A4 B8.5 Avant in Glacier White and it loves the tree sap! Got collinite coming tomorrow and everything else I already have, got loads of polishes but yours looks really clean. Where did you get 5L of fallout remover? Nearly out myself!

I use either AG super resin polish (as it contains fillers) or normal use megs ultimate liquid wax. Then top it off with collinite 845 wax (which is amazing)

A lad I was introduced to locally who's selling car cleaning products I bought the 5l of fallout remover from at cost price. Can ask how much he'll do it for picked up or delivered if you want? It's ****** good stuff.

You used the collinite 845 wax before? So so easy to apply and remove

This is what I use to apply it

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/182151518935

Best applicator I've ever used makes the wax go on easy and spread is great.

Ah ok, I have Meg's but a lot of my polish's are for black/dark cars due to my 2 last cars being a blue corsa and a black a3 so not many for white!

That would be great if you could find me the prices, Where is he based?

Never used Collinite 845 but seen the reputation of it on DW and then seeing it on yours sold me.

I have loads of brand new applicators and non abrasive DA pads :)

My plan is to snow foam, rinse, wash, rinse, fallout remover, rinse, polish then wax.
Then wheels off clean them up then fallout remover on them then wax them too. Will be a long day tomorrow!

He's based in Teesside, Billingham to be specific. I'll ask him see what he says, let you know.

You've a busy day tomorrow I'm jealous, love spending time cleaning the car. The end finish is so worth it.

I love it too, always get people passing by joking with me to do their car!
It will be worth it even more for me due to my 3 car drive way which has 2 cars in currently, waiting to sell the A3, Is completely covered by a massive sap tree. Did a thorough wash yesterday and today it is completely covered in sap, Such a waste of time!

Funny thing is prior to picking it up Audi insisted on cleaning it, which I wasn't too happy about, When I went to pick it up the second they pulled it out of the workshop the birds did their deeds on it. Jumped back into my car grabbed my detailing kit and cleaned it off.
Until yesterday it was the only clean part of the car after a week, The rest was covered in sap and dirty rain spots!

It only got cleaned yesterday after refitting my headlights, Had them out 2 days after picking the car and painted them, otherwise I would of left it until my wax came!
