After going through a set of P Rosso's, P Nero's and 2 sets of Michelin PS3s during my ownership, I can say I have not experienced grip like I have done with the MPSS.
Yes I do have a mere S3 8l - only around 260bhp - but grip/cornering noise and the way they handle beats all the tyres I have had previously. Friend of mine has them on his 725bhp GTR and he said they haven't missed a beat for him and he has tracked his motor with them on and was showing up the other GTRs running Bridgestones.
I went out for a play the other night and I was amazed at how well they stuck my car to the road. There are no magical powers- Michelin have just made an amazing tyre.
Alex- I notice you said the MPSS's are the second best..... out of curiosity; what is the best tyre in your opinion that comes with a full on 8mm tread?
