My 2004 A4 1.9tdi is on 154000 but my previous B5 1.9tdi A4 was on 215000 miles when I sold it and it is still smoking about now so god knows what mileage it's on now.
got nearly 170K on my 110 TDi - last 10K on biodiesel and recently remapped to 300Nm...
would be good to know - do you change oil more frequently on high milers?
i heard on the radio one time that an old bloke hand an audi from new and it had done 500k and all he had done to it was it seviced every 12 month, dont know if it was bull or not tho...
There is a B5 S4 on ebay at the minute with 224k if anyone wants to get a head start on breaking a mileage record! Not a bad price either although S4's seam to be tumbling in price daily.
I've just bought an Avant 1.9 TDi (90 bhp) which had 168k on. It's clocked the 170k mark now and it's still a great car. I've changed the cam belt, water pump and tensioners, couple of new gaskets for a minor leak and thats about it. She still drives well and corners flat and tight. No knocks, bangs, rattles or squeeks.
So far well happy.
250k isn't really that much to be fair, some of the motors on the American TDi forums are over 500k and still going, we have mere babies in comparison.

To be fair: 100k in central London and surrounding motorway is probably worse than 500k when you're idling along at 55mph and run an entire tank from start to finish in one trip and scarcely encounter a corner...
Mine ticked past 160k a couple weeks a go. 99' A4 2.4 30v. MOT'd last week and the emissions were well under the limits. Extremely low HC count, although it does seem to be using/losing a bit of oil somewhere.
