B&O Amp water damage... Replaced but still not working VCDS Log inside

So i had my windows tinted by a friend which then led to my B&O Amp failing so i had no sound coming from my speakers. After 4 months i sourced an amplifier on eBay which said it was 100% working.
Same part number etc.....

It looks to me like component protection is active. If this is the case there are many modules in the car that can't just be changed out.

You can't remove component protection with VAG-COM it's normally a trip to the dealer.

You seem to have a lot of faults on the car too. The solenoid looks like it's gone on the fuel cap so it won't be locking.A common fault had to replace it on my A4.

Hey desert storm. I am aware of the component protection. The thing is. Even when component protection is active I should still get sound from one side of the car. But I have nothing at all :(. Just like when my original amp failed
 
I would suspect that either the amp you have bought is faulty, or when the amp has gone faulty it has blown a fuse somewhere. It seems a common problem that dealers are not interested in people with second hand parts. They will make a lot more money out of you if you have to buy it new.
You have an intermittent open circuit in the optical databus on the control head, module 7, not sure if this is related to your problem.

Thanks for your reply. I have no idea what an open circuit in the optical data bus is. The link of yours did not work for me. I wonder if anyone could point me to the right location for any possible fuses :/ hmmmm
