I have seen a few threads about amps going, my sub and door speakers have stopped working within 6 months of having the car, gutted as its £1k replacement if it is the amp, which i am 95% sures the case looking at other threads on here! I have audi a5 3.0 tdi, 57 plate, 3g mmi set up!
Is it possible there might be another issue other than the amp, if so what else could it be, don't want to give Audi £60 to let me know something i already know?
Can i replace this amp with another newer amp model such as 8t0035223Ak, or another if so which one?
How can i get component protection removed if i get a second hand model, other than going to Audi who won't touch it, unless i spend a grand getting it from them?
