****** lightweight. Call yourself a true Scotsman eh? lolHad 2 Glasses of Champagne mate and 3 beers...................Friday........ Tuned to the Moon l was.....Ah....Well there is only one thing for.....it......Hair of the Dog as they say......lol
The fuse for the indicators is an optional extra that most BMW owners don't specA guy at work bought a BMW and I asked him if the indicators worked....... he looked so confused.
In your experience yes.
In MY experience BMW’s are overrated sh!t, I’m either Mr Unlucky or BMW’s are pieces of sh!t, because the three I’ve had have been junk.....and several people I know say the same.
That’s all I was saying, zero offence intended.
Must have been that blue blood super moon thing youve all gone completely cuckoo !
In all Honesty mate yer posts are more controversial than my own.....lol.......and l couldnt hold a candle to your posts......You are out there on your own....lol that's not to say....your always entertaining....yes you are.... but...but you have a Pen -Chant for winding others up................lol
Bmw ARE going to wipe the showroom tiles with Audi in the next year..............Audi's really have become far too conservative with their exterior styling unless you buy a RS version but l will leave you with this beasty not my type of car at all as it's too exexpensive for me and too hard core View attachment 147814
Priming myself for the next M240i Gran Coupe next year coming with xDrive. Hope it's a 6cyl though, and not 4pot.l am almost sure my next car will indeed be a BMW.......They have 8 new models coming out this year alone......and if the all new Z4 looks remotely like the car that was shown last year......l think it could be the car for me
Controversial? You may be right there, the whole VW group styling has gone south, whereas BMW''s design has improved a lot in my view.Bmw ARE going to wipe the showroom tiles with Audi in the next year..............Audi's really have become far too conservative with their exterior styling unless you buy a RS version but l will leave you with this beasty not my type of car at all as it's too exexpensive for me and too hard core View attachment 147814
In addition, am I the only one who loves the lines and style of the A3 8V exterior?
I would not have this car either mate, l just posted it because l had spent all day yesterday machine polishing it lolIt’s blue apart from that it has nothing going for it in my opinion.

BTW that blue is pure porn, would love to see it beside your voodoo as a comparison.
Does Jordan work for Parks?
Ah the Bimmer vs Audi styling debate.....This is just my opinion....BMW wins the exterior beauty pageant for most of their saloon designs ( I am not a fan of SUV designs), but as we all know beauty is more than skin deep. I just prefer the looks, understated in the case of the S3, to any equivalent car and it is better finished on the inside. The new Audi 5 series is a nice design but I wish Audi would do something about the grill on most of their cars, it is too big. I have said this before, there is a mystique about BMW that I do not buy into and for that, maybe stupid reason, BMW are not on my list of preferred cars and yes, they seem to have an issue with faulty indicators
On another front the size of the S3 is just about perfect for me. In the redesign just make for a wee bit more legroom and headroom in the back seats and do not follow the alarming trend of larger and larger redesigns.
People get a little bit tribal in the Audi vs BMW debate they both make fantastic cars to say one is **** is a bit of a sweeping statement.
Truly stunning car @jassyo06 LOVE that colour. In all Honesty mate yer posts are more controversial than my own.....lol.......and l couldnt hold a candle to your posts......You are out there on your own....lol that's not to say....your always entertaining....yes you are.... but...but you have a Pen -Chant for winding others up................lol

Yas Marina Blue?
Looks very similar to Riviera Blue but is one of those colours that only suits certain body styles IMO.
I love Riviera Blue but not on the 8v saloon. If I was in the market for a SB it would be in this colour.
Plenty of room in this beastie

It used to be Menzies for years, in the same bit as Audi at Broadleys / SpringkerseNice.
Didn't realise Parks had a branch in Stirling, was thinking it was the one on Bothwell Rd.
I moved from my 2nd S3 to a M135i just before Xmas. Both cars have there pro's & cons without a doubt just like any car will have. I can say for sure that the M135/40i will put a smile on your face a lot more often than an S3 will. Yes its a lot less understated to look at compared to an S3, and the S3 does have a nicer styling to the interior but the BMW is by no means a nasty place to be. The driving position is a lot better, the cars feedback is a lot better and the Idrive is a better system in my opinion. That before you even get to the engine, power delivery, noise etc. compared to an S3. I never used to be a fan of BMW's except flagship M3's etc but I think a lot of people who may not have experienced say a M135/40 or M235/40 would be very pleasantly surprised if they had one for a week.
Mustang externally yes but unsure of interior For me Exige would only work as a weekend car unfortunately, the S3 is a good compromise for commuting. Like you I’ve never fallen in love with the S3 though, I like the power, the looks but really don’t like the seating position or feel.Well, this is my first Audi but unless I get giddy and get an RS3 it will likely be my last aswell. BMW, nothing really stands out apart from the M2 or M3/4 models. There are too many silly little things on BMW's that annoy me however... having to manually press a button for the wing mirrors to fold, the boring looking seats that seem to lack any sort of support and dials and switch gear that looks like someone sneezed the arrangement onto the dash. Exterior wise, like most cars these days... needs the right spec level to look good. There are times when I fancy a BMW, but there are also times that I fancy a Mustang or an Exige... it's something I'll probably scratch one day.
