I know shes hasn't been the best role model but at the end of the day she was a talented music icon. Comparing her to the newcomers nowadays there is no contest. Rip Whitney

Oh dear....

It's unbelievable the heavy burden that fame and fortune place on the shoulders of those who aren't 100% comfortable with it. I don't suppose her husband helped matters.

Was saddened to hear this on the news. Such a wonderful voice. She was such a troubled lady. May she rest in peace now.
