I have recently got a second car, a 2003 Vectra - 70% of the time on first start up when turning the key I see a padlock and a car picture, I have been told it's the immobiliser, I have tried a few local places but can't seem to find the problem.
Not sure if this is a specialist area due to it being for keys/electrics.
Any ideas what I can do? I obviously would rather keep costs to a minimum, but want it fixing.
Can anyone help me or make any suggestions?
