You better watch them exhaust tips don't melt it lol
Why did you fit it .. . If the build quality is poor
It needed a lot of trimming and straightening that you would have thought it would have come ready smoothed. It's almost like they mould and then say, let the customer fix out bad workmanship .

That’s not good, hopefully no other issues. Looks nice with the viper though.

This is what I left with the supplier.

Hi, can you please get hold of Rieger in Germany and let them know that the workmanship of their diffusers is pitiful. What a mess of the cut outs, the shape and fit and finish is atrocious. If I knew this when I purchased it I would have left well alone. Just shy of £200 for something that looks like it's been cut out by a blunt spoon. I'm not going to leave this as feedback as your only the supplier. But I would like a response from Rieger or I will have to put this as feedback. I await your and Rieger response

2 bucket Wash, decontaminated, washed again, clayed, washed 3rd time, machine polished with a medium compound then a finishing compound, polished, put a sealer on then did the wheels and tyres. Took all day but worth the sunburn on my head.

Not washed (for a change)

Just fit these goodies
RS3 front grille
Rear spoiler
DTUK box

So the grille was aftermarket not genuine, it was however a genuine pain in the **** to fit, still has 3 tie wraps holding pieces I needed to bond on, DTUK box fitted but not feeling extra power will have to look at setup and settings but no errors, rear spoiler aftermarket and not a perfect fit so currently bonded on one side, secured with gaffa tape over night
Maybe wash and better pics tomorrow

F. ...K. . NOWT worse mate

Isn't that the truth, gutted and annoyed! I had the horrible feeling it'd happened and the Mrs looked when we stopped and I heard "oh no!" Thought she was on the wind up but nope :pensive:

Fired an email off for a price about half an hour after it happened, hopefully won't be too painful!

Feel your pain, I did mine in practically the same place a couple of weeks ago, may be a few pages back. Ended up taking it to a local Audi body shop and only cost me £60 to repair, honestly impossible to tell that anything happened I had to look at the writing on the tyre to try and spot where it’d been fixed but nothing showing :grinning:

I shall most likely be trusting Pristine Alloy Wheels with the job, am expecting maybe 3 figures. Will need to be re-diamond turned/painted when it's repaired

in a bit of a pickle today.

want to go out for a drive for obvious reasons.....but. the car is filthy, covered in dust and there are literally cobwebs round the door handles and wheel/arch gaps.....but its too hot to wash and where i wash isnt in shade until 7pm. so I wont be going out for a drive :concern:

its a good choice, if you wash it in the direct sunlight you'll be forever chasing your tail finding the water dry spots. Do you have a water filter or use rain water? I collect my rain water in my water butt and connect an electric pump then to my pressure washer and have notice less water spots when it does dry out.

no I dont....I wash my car at our workshop type area, using a pressure washer that is on its last legs, a big old Nilfisk on wheels. Eventually we are going to get a electric pump mounted inside the building and figure out some quick connects so we can just clip the wand and hose to an outlet on the outside of the building, and maybe put a water filter in there somewhere.
eventually....:hopelessness:

good idea with the rain water mind!

I feel you pain. Nothing worse than not being able to give it a good scrub, especially at this time of year, the window of opportunity grows ever smaller. Luckily enough I washed mine this morning before the Sun came out big time. Although I'm not using it today by the time I was going to detail it, it was way to sunny to bother. Tonight I'll get round to finishing it off.

I've thought of doing the same Matt, the OEM ones are shocking, leave them a week and they're both nearly impossible to clean and pitted!

Had those feelings before, quick powerful car and no great roads near me. Just traffic. . Even when heading out into the countryside.

You've got no excuse! Cars were pulling over in laybys and stuff to let me pass when I was up there! I couldn't believe it.

You say that but I've seen 2 RS3s in 2 days (currently near Manchester in Cheadle) never had that before down south haha.

At least you admit no excuse ! :)
