What Detailing / Car Care Products Have You Bought / Ordered Today?

Chemical guys hex logic quantum the same pads in the photos, these where recommended by the owner of in2detailing they're more sturdy harder wearing than the normal hex logic pads and in conjunction with S20 black.... It's mighty combo very easy to work with am off to do some correction on a 09 fiesta tomorrow if it stops snowing that is lol

Nice one dude hope it goes well for you I have just bought s20 black as well think I’m gonna give it a go myself seems to be much easier and quicker to do

Right bought the 2 buckets, £25 the grit guards don't fit the bottom of the buckets, kinda defeats the purpose as they will move around as you dip your mitt around the bucket poor, should be a perfect fit? My mindset of this washing technique was always a bit gash//sceptical especially once you've used a good high quality snow foam plus a citrus pre cleanser, in my honest opinion it's the worst £25 spent on 2 bits of plastic, plus a 50 pence sponge on the bottom of a bucket does the same thing, then on to the in2detailing.co.uk replica of the incredimitt..... All l can say is buy the incredimitt for the sake of a extra £7, it's guff so cheap feeling and into bargain thin, Macguirers detailing mitt is better from Halfrauds, the liquid elements drying towel feels/looks guff compared to my aquadeluxe drying towel basically the same price, but
DSC 0153
they say its 1200 gsm...... Buts its more like 800/900 again avoid, last but not least Angelwax Shampoo yet to be tested lol

Karcher get on my tits to you not alone I was going to wash car today get it all prepped and what not, thought I would put my new hose replacement on as it’s much longer and doesn’t tangle as much as the original but the hose pipe attached to the gun decided it wouldn’t budge and was stuck on in the end had to take the gun to bits and unscrew everything to get the hose off never easy with karcher you seemed to have had fair bit of bad luck with yours I never knew they could get on fire so easy, bet you were fuming I only really go in halfrauds as you call if I’m desperate as they bit overpriced on some stuff

I gave mines a citrus prewash only the lower parts/snowfoam/washed the wheels and used some freeby autoglym wheel cleaner and Krystal Kleenz Tartastic tar remover on the exhausts, good kit that and cheap,Angelwax Shampoo is great stuff well pleased with it,Gtechniq shampoo no more,its more than twice the price

Still too cold up here......to wash..........needed ice skates more like to go round the car

I’m have exactly the same thoughts about the door pillars and the gloss black finish that doesn’t stay glossy for long. It’s the one thing I hate looking at once you clean your car...very annoying :frown new:

@SPIKE_S1 - Short term, VFM quick & easy fix for this is Auto Finesse Tripple I've found mate
http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/auto-finesse-tripple.html

Works a treat but it isn't a permanent fix
But no matter what you do the swirls will always re-appear :(

@T800
@jassyo06 - The AF Tripple has a very mild cut on it
Polished Bliss give it a 1/10 cut level which should be very safe on those piano black trims mate
