Upgraded intercooler

Morning, is pro alloy still considered the best intercooler for the S3 8P?

I don't think it matters much in all honesty, any of they uprated intercoolers ie. Wagner, Airtec, Pro Alloy are going to be fine. Unless you're chasing beyond Stage3 500bhp+ I don't think it'll make any difference. I'm running the Airtec Stage2 intercooler on mine at 380bhp Stage2.

The Airtec is definitely suitable for Stage3 TTE420 cos mine was taken off my mates S3 that was at that level and around 440bhp so you'll be fine

What is your budget? I have an RS3 forge with integrated crash bar good for 1100hp for sale. RRP is £1750 I'll take £1300 for it.

Way beyond my needs for circa 430bhp.

Evening all, will be having uprated intercooler fitted in the next few weeks. Was wondering what to do about the hoses that fit onto the intercooler. I searched for uprated silicone versions but couldn't find any. Am I best just buying new OEM hoses to go on?

The Airtec ic comes with replacement hoses.
