When I came to get in my S3 this morning, the car had no power at all not even interior or dash lights, yet the night before it was fine, anyway I replaced the battery and that died after ten miles, the battery warning light came on and went off twice, so would I be correct in thinking the alternator has given up? I had fault code 1810, power +B terminal 30 voltage too low, thanks for any help.

It would appear that the alternator has probably died, You need to do some diagnostics though just try measuring the voltage when the engine is running.
When you have had a flat battery you will have loads of those fault events across many modules.

Sounds like the alternator has died mate.

Yes it was alternator, replaced it today, so now I have two good batteries, a bonus I guess.
