Hi - I have a 2012 A3 2.0 ltr TDi DSG sportback (S-Line, black edition). A thing that puzzles me is when at low speed, I lift my foot off the accelerator pedal, there is often a kind of squeak noise. Another way to describe it might be an "eep" or a "hic".
The noise appears to come from the rear of the car.
Just wondering if anyone has noticed anything similar, or might know what this could be ? Is it expected in this type of car, or a sign of something expensive about to fail ? As I say it comes from the rear, which presumably must narrow down the likely source a fair bit.
For what it's worth, I made a short recording here, where the noise (although fairly quiet) can be heard at 3 seconds, 8secs, 13secs.
I should add I've owned the car for 6 months, and it's always done this.
Thanks for any clue!
