South Wales Meets. Are there or is there any memebers that want to carry on with the S. Wales meet up's as a few of us are trying to get a strong monthly Meet, so we are asking if S.Wales memebers will show there commitment to these meets 100% as a few of us are looking to make changes to get more members on board..

In the past all meets have been very good with meets at Pubs for meals and Coffee . We are all FRIENDLY (we don't bite) and all get along well with some of us having weekends away with ASN during the show season. We are just trying to get a strong following like many other regions. Commitment is all we are asking for ..

Well said Col as u know ill support any meet/event 100% i think we should make then mini events ie bowling paintballing go-karting etc think alot more people will honor the commitment then instead of the usual forum loyalists saying YEAH IM THERE and then not turn up and Colin myself Grant Fran and Helen are left bing the usual suspects lol (+ the better halfs aswell)

so if we make a date for a meet/event please support it and if u have gotta pull out for any reason let us kno rather than jus not turn up so were not left hanging round at the meet points wondering were folks are

lets keep the show seen alive through the winter and keep in contact rather than jus cing each other few time a year at shows

well said lads, its all about commitment. if some people are not dedicated then they wont turn up thats why we need to keep things alive through the winter. i must admit i enjoy the local meets as much as the main events as who wouldnt like going for a meal with friends who have the same interests in all things Audi and what not.

as you know im always at a meet if funds will allow for fuel so ill be there no doubt. i think captains wife bar will have to have a look in next meet as they grub and place itself is stunning and what a view also for some good pics

come on peeps new and old put your names down and get to a local meet with the rest if the S.Wales crew

Well we are going to try to make things a bit more interesting in the near future. Audi Dealer/service area tours at Cardiff Audi. I will also ask Rhyso if he will do S.Wales members VagCom checks for a discount price for the group... Darren and myself will get some ASN south Wales region Stickers (smart ones not tat) I have also been speaking to a new member on the B6 forum who is a profesional photographer for some rolling shots and arty type pictures.

The meeting's at good food pubs will always carry on as we all like them.. Any ideas for this Christmas Dinner are more than welcome.. Ideas from all South Wales members are welcome (don't be shy)..

In the spring we are hoping to have a nice spring day drive that starts at Cardiff to the Bracons and beyond (all route ideas welcome).
BBQ's , we are looking to have a day of fun at Margam Park's GO APE High wire zipp line if we get the numbers .. Like we have said in the Past all ideas will be welcomed.

With regards to show's that will take place next year we will try to get the best hotel deals for those of us that want rooms for the weekend or only one night (those have been before know how much fun we have). So again more the better ..

I'll try and come along to a couple of meets (depending on work), I need to get the car ( or the van) out and about, and if there is food involved, bonus !

Anyone local to me, (Cardiff) removed the colum covers from a b6? For the life of me I can't get them apart! I want to install the colum pod for my boost gauge.

Cheers.

Dunno mate, why would you want to put a column pod boost gauge in an Audi for is my question, if you want style then search podi boost gauge, these are the best ones around and the only ones that match Audi clocks( colour)

Happy with that.

So far
Sunday 5th Feb
M4 Sarn Services

as for a time?

This is all just speculation/get the ball rolling. I'm aware there are more senior (in membership not age) members that probably have a better idea.

I have posted up on Facebook about this so the other S.Wales member's are aware of this meet, we have meet at other locations like Sully, Brecon,Pencoed, in the past, it's good to see the S Wales member's growing.
