Re: TT 2001 Four times in 2 years the trans disengaged. I pulled over, turned the car off, turned it back on and drove off. In all times the speed was 50 - 75 mph. I put on 6000 miles annual and the odom reads 112,000.
The engine is on during this and hitting the gas revs it to 1000 rpm, tops. Check Engine does not appear but EPC lights up, no codes given.
A european mechanic scanned it but resulted in nothing except a low oxygen sensor reading.
