Has anyone had a res delete on a stock exhuast how does it sound do the dsg Farts sound different?

Don't do it. Did it on my Leon Fr 2.0 TFSI and while it made the farts a little louder the drone was terrible on the motorway around 60-80mph and ruined it really.
If you want a better exhaust note, buy a better exhaust. Wouldn't waste my time with half measures personally pal.

Look at your exhaust front to back. Post cat you may find a restrictor pre resonator on one of the tubes. If so get rid of it. You can replace the resonator with a vibrant bottle type resonator. You won't have the dreaded drone and the exhaust note will improve.
