I just find it a little annoying that a lot of these 'family car' EV's have this party trick of instant, quiet acceleration outdoing just about every other car from any speed

I sort of accept that EV's will get better and better with every new model as the manufacturer's all strive to beat each other with range/charge times/performance etc.

But that doesnt mean I'm looking forward to it either, for the last 40-50 years I have loved the ICE whether it be in a Car or a Motorcycle.

I just find the cold characterless/soul less EV rather annoying, but, as said in Car Mag this month, If someone invented an ICE car that would do (or equate to) 700mpg, blistering performance and zero servicing he would be proclaimed a genius.

I cant see our RS3 being there for too long in the future, whats the point of a performance (ICE) car that gets destroyed by every shopping/kids to school type car?

You can count on one hand the number of similar priced EV's that can "destroy" a RS3 though. The very vast majority are slow + boring heaps of junk.

Oz Superleggera looked great on my 8L.... Would love them on the 8Y. I'm not a fan of white bits on the VS wheels.

They look like a bigger 20" wheel too, wasn't too sure at first from the direct side on picture, but they look a lot better when viewed from the rear / side shot......

I didn't think I'd like the VS wheels at all but they're growing on me now that I've had them for a while. If I curbed them and had to get a refurb I imagine I'd probably go for something slightly different colour-wise, but I'll cross that bridge if I come to it.

I am 57.
I have BBS SX's on my Passat GTE. And had Audi OEM BBS's (CH028) on my previous A3 8v. I am a great fan of BBS's.

The first picture is extra low. Had about 12 cases of juice in the boot as well as a tool box. It is lowered on the Eibach Spotline kit.

Ive just spent another 30 minutes re-cleaning/washing my wheels that I thought were clean after I washed the car yesterday, the std, even Vorprung gloss ones are hard enough to clean with with only about half the number of spokes, I like the seats though
