Hi,

Apparently the rear brake line is excessively corroded after just 3 years after a genuine VAG replacement.

My question: does the fuel tank need to be dropped to remove/refit? I understand it passes over it but unaure if this prevents it from being pulled out. Does the entire brake system need bleeding too?

Thanks in advance.

I change both on the back bot too long ago..but didn't have to do full brake lines so tank didn't need to be pulled off. Mine was only from the caliper to a bit in front of the tank about 20 inches of brake line it looked. But did need to bleed as mine leaked out a whole load of fluid
