Playing DVDs with Tech Package and B&O

Hi Everyone

Am I right in thinking that as we're going to have the technology package and b&o, we're going to be able to play DVDs in the car and on the screen with 5.1 surround??

Sounds too good to be true!

I can see my wife enjoying a take that concert when we're on long journeys down to Cornwall or Scotland.

Yes DVD's in glorious 5.1 sadly only when your stuck in a traffic jam going nowhere

I find it handy when waiting at the train station for my Mrs, would have been good on a recent trip to Birmingham crawling at 5-10mph

P.S take that concert audio will play fine, but screen will cut out as you get moving

Is there a way of changing it? Coding?

Most of our long journeys are done in the dead of night with very quiet roads (hence the lane assist!).

There are people who will do it BUT it is illegal.

There is a Guy called James at Advanced Car Technology (Poole based but national fitters) worth talking to. Fitted a Nav to one of our other cars.

For me it would be a horrible distraction having anything playing on the screen while I'm driving, hence it being illegal. Just get her a tablet and some headphones.
