Hello, my brother in law has some issues with his 2008 2.0 TDI passat with the CBA engine, got the following codes with me VCDS just after some insight as to where should we start,

So far we've removed and the cleaned the throttle body/egr and all was good for 500miles+ I'm not sure if the issue is with with the DPF but can't be certain.

When the mil light comes on he gets a surging sensation but this can come and go.

Thanks for any help, it will be greatly appreiciated.

clear all the faults again take it for a run and scan again. So many dates of different faults coming back . It does say the egr had insufficient flow so hopefully that wont come back.
Have you tried to reset the MIL?

Yes, tried force regen, and throttle body connections are good, the annoying thing is that it can drive fine for 500+miles and then for no apparent reason it starts to surge and the light comes on with these codes stored.

the throttle valves break internally on 2.0 tdis
it probably needs a new one £350 from VW
£190 from euros/gsf
it usually blows the fuse in electrics box near battery
