Hi i have got this fault code p2187 i have replaced vacuum valve air mass sensor 0
O2 sensors front and rear fuel filter and cant get rid of this code and eml light keeps coming on.

It's could be a faulty N80 valve. Common fault that valve on these cars

From the Ross Tech Wiki

18619/P2187/008583
Contents
18619/P2187/008583 - Bank 1; System too Lean at Idle
Possible Causes
  • Injectors leak/blocked
  • Air Intake Leak (after MAF)
  • Exhaust Leak
Possible Solutions
  • Check Mass Air Flow Sensor (G70)
  • Check Injector(s)
  • Check Fuel Pump
  • Check Activated Charcoal Filter (EVAP) System Solenoid Valve 1 (N80)
    Special Notes
    • When found in the NAR 2.0T (BPY) check RVUTB: 01-09-03 or 2018919 for updated Crankcase Breather Valve
      • If the breather valve is faulty, full engine vacuum is typically found when removing the oil cap at idle.

As above I would check the N80 to see if it's sticking open

The n80 valve is that at the top of engine on right hand side just a one way valve with electrical plug

The N80 is near the throttle body has two rubber pipes and a electric plug on it.

Replaced the n80 valve today part number 06e 906 517a so lets hope this dose the trick will keep you posted as to what happens next thanks for the help also people

So far so good people drove car a few times since that n80 valve been fitted and still no eml light so looking good will keep you posted over next few days as of the out come

Sounds promising, You now have some spares for the car as well.

Car still seems ok and the garages that have had the car loads of times have all the parts they replaced but not given them back but also have taken over 1k off me also with out even fixing the car too

Seems like Cowboys who have just been replacing parts and taking your money mate.

Yeah mate two garages call them self independent specialists but there both no good really just con artists

Get your old parts from them at least you know they all work.

Just a update this n80 valve has definitely fixed the fault code i had not seen it since 24th dec
