New CV JOINT fitted but new boot has come off

Hi guys..

Need some advice.

I had a new cv joint fitted thursday just gone on my audi a5 and as i turned full lock the clip came off and boot came away the hub side.. any suggestions to keep boot on and a way forward..the new part is a GKN cv joint

Use one of these tools to do the clip up. It wont come off after that.
