i got a replacement bumper bar from the local vw audi breakers vag spares

only thing else that was realy broke was the airbox that ive plastic welded back together for the moment till i find a replace

trial fitted bumper after repair to check it was still ok round the lights etc
    [IMG]
and then fitted all new genuine service bits including cambelt but used a cicolli water pump from euros with a metal impeller as dont like plastic ones
    [IMG]
ordered some more plastic from tps

Ive been hearing what sounded like a boost leak so on the ramp at lunch today and found this

the clip was bent etc so order new clips and new seals which turned up within half hour of ordering from tps :)

    new vs old
    [IMG]

also been having a bit of wheel wobble and what sounds like a wheel bearing from the back so spun the wheel and couldn't hear anything but noticed that the rear tyres are made by bct (cheap Chinese ****) so balanced all 4 and put them on the front to see if i loose my noise as had problems with them before at work and there brand new so don't see the point in replacing them yet.

think the person who balanced them was blind lol,
ordered the ashtray blank today which will be here tomorrow so ill get some pics up of that and have another go at brake light switch

Hey, im looking to de-badge mines but im worried about the faded paint around where the stickers are?

How did you remove all the sticky stuff?

U warmed the badges up with a heat gun and just pulled them off, then I used a toffee/caramel wheel in a drill to remove most of the sticky/black stuff then some compound Polish to finish it off :)
