MMI volume display

When I turn the volume dial on the centre console to adjust the volume of the radio the display shows a volume "bar" with a number, if I turn the dial so the bar shows half way the volume number shows somewhere around 20, thought it should display 50 as in 50% volume.

Is it just my MMi or do all do this?

My S5 doesn't show a number just a bar but the parents A6 shows a number. My S3 didn't show a number.
I think the difference may be to do with the MMI level? In advanced tech pack or not?

I have the Tech pack non advanced with Audi upgrade audio (no Audi connect, no B & O).

Depending on your model and year but as I recall, Audi Sound system has a volume scale of 0 - 30.

Ah, so that's it, 30 = 100% volume

Another question, when I take a phone call the media being played (bluetooth) is paused, when I have ended the call the media does not resume, I have to push the volume button off and on for it to start again, is this normal?

I have standard mmi and standard sound. Shows max 30 I think (but I don’t take much notice)
