Hi

Had my RNSE installed today,
But on the driver home,
i lost boost / power not long into the drive,
I had pretty much no power in 5th/6th after 2500rpm,

any ideas ?

Will be going back to the garage tomorrow o be plugged in i think.
:s

Sounds electrical to me.....but diagnostics will say for sure

Was it fitted yourself? If not maybe they spliced another wire for something. Still can't see how the heck an rnse would relate to performance  other than weight of course haha which probably isn't much more.

Mates a4 b6 lost power after reverse light blew a fuse.
Stumped him for months what happened.
As it happens the maf shared the same fuse as the reverse switch.
Changed the fuse after someone told him his reverse lights was out then hey presto. Full power back.
Electrics can be funny. Hate to say it as everyone does.. Check ALL fuses.

no, didnt fit it my self, a garage did.

wasnt assuming it was the rnse,
just seemed coincident, after wiring and coding changed.

they said they only had to move one pin to get the bose to work.

funnily enough, it seemed alright this morning on the way to work.
Garage said they can plug it in to check for faults,
but unsure as to what it was now.

Will see how it goes. if it happens again, :p ??
