Hi

Car started having to crank for 10-20 seconds when it had been sitting for a day (or half a day)

When it ran I could drive it without problems

There are no errors in ENGINE with vcds.

When I take off the feed line to the filter and turn to IGN there is NO fuel coming out

When I go directly to the pump(which already has been swapped) it delivers fine...

As the car can drive, some fuel must come to the engine somehow?

Today though, car stalled when depressing clutch coming to a roundabout..

This time it took 30/40 secs before starting and could drive home..

Sat in the car as it idled.. gave the acc a few pump raising the revs to about 3000.. then it stalled..

Could start it again after cranking for 20 secs or so...

Could start again after 10-20 secs and I drove to a garage, with no stall.. But went slow speed

WTF is wrong ??

Also tried blowing air through the feed line.. no air out either way

What is the function of this.. don’t worry it is fitted to the pump in the tank

Found the culprit..

Don’t know why it shows NOW...

The lines coming from the tank was swapped at the filter.. meaning it fed the filter through the valve, and returned through the “feed tap”

But it’s been like that for months now, and through hard accelerations, high speeds and so on.. no problems, (perhaps some surge when going above the 3-3500 rev range)

Why should it begin the trouble now??

Bought new filter and valve, filled the filter with LIQUI Moly diesel purge, and through the afternoon and evening, car was stopped and started about 5 times, started instantly every time...

The final test is 12-24 hours

Hopefully no permanently damage is done..

Car pulls a bit better now
