I recently bought a 2003 B6 A4 2.5tdi (180bhp) and the first month was perfect, no issues and the car ran fantastic. But recently ive been noticing some issues. When the car gets to temp and you shut it off and back on again, the crank gets longer and when it does finally start it idles at 1100-1200rpm as opposed to the normal 800-900rpm. The next issue is that there is a bit of hesitation between 2000-2500rpm when the car comes into boost. This delayed boosting is accompanied by smoke but from what i can tell the turbo is still find and there is no oil leaks/head gasket problems. Ive been told it could be a couple of things but im looking for a better idea. Possibly MAF sensor, possibly a boost leak. But im in no way mechanically inclined bar messing around with the odd thing.
