LED brake lights

hi,

I have a 2008 Audi b8 a4 sline and have noticed that the new 2010 model has the rear led lights as it's brake lights,mine has rear LEDs but only as the actual rear lights,is it possible to use the rear led lights as the rear brake lights somehow :thumbsup:?

not sure if this is easy or not but any advice would be much appreciated cheers

Did you buy the car new? I think someone may have put the LED rears on as they didn't come out of the factory until MY2010 cars i.e. mid/late 2009.

The thing that bugs me about mine is that rear and brakes are LED but the indicators aren't. Why would they do that?

The same reason why they didnt put a light in the glove box (tight gits!)

But you'd have thought adding a couple of brake LEDs whilst putting on the others would be cheaper than sourcing bulbs? I guess not.

Light in the glovebox on my A3 only works with the lights on... Have you tried that??

I defo have no light in the glovebox really bugs me i wrote to Audi and told them what inthought but never heard anything back!!

Strange... They must be cutting costs then!! It's one of those things you just expect to be there. I have one in my Vauxhall Vivaro van even!!
