how do you know if n75 valve is nackered

hi lads just trying to work out why im only getting 0.4 boost checked for boost leaks etc just thinking is my n75 valve faulty?

i have vagcom and a ebay lead ive checked for dtcs but nothing?

0.4bar boost is 5.9psi, which doesn't sound like a problem to me at all.....

a standard 150bhp AGU engine will only boost to around 6psi as standard anyway, and if you've got a cheap guage it's more than likely it'll over/under read by 1psi or more.....

why do you assume that 0.4bar boost indicates a problem?

just drove some cars around same bhp and seem alot quicker i just wondered if the n75 was faulty but dnt think so now reading prawns comment thanks m8

What cars did you drive?

The A3 is quite heavy for it's size @ 1200KG, if say you drove an ST fiesta @ 150BHP it prob weighs 1050kg tops in comparison so power to weight would make quite a difference
