Hold assist not releasing

I had a small issue with the hold assist this evening. Basically I pulled up at a set of lights, the green hold assist symbol came on the dis and when I went up pull away the rear brakes wouldn't release.
I turned HA off and everything was fine and it's working fine again now.
Car is an stronic so no manual clutch, any ideas?

I have the odd issue with the electronic handbrake. PITA! Wish I had a normal handbrake.

Now I actually like the electronic handbrake as i never need to use it as it's automatic.
My handbrake turn days are over too so no worries there lol

I love me electric handbrake, I used to always be paranoid that'd forget to release it!

Hold Assist on DSG is rubbish. Leave mine switched off due to the weirdness of it. Mine even decides to sometimes apply the handbrake at odd times during parking manoeuvres.

I love the feature tbh and never had an issue before.
It's in at the dealers today for other issues but as there s no related fault code I'm not expecting a diagnosis
