Has anyone done a single wiper conversion ??

As the title.
[FONT=Tahoma, Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif]I accidentally snapped the clip/bar when trying to change the wiper blades. [/FONT]
Audi being Audi only sell this part with the actual arm.
They are £40+ from the dealer lol.
So I was thinking it would be pretty cool to try and do a single front wiper conversion

Or if anyone has spare clips/bars to sell or know of anywhere at decent money please let me know !

wouldnt it be cheaper just replace your arm then convert to a single?

not true, clip is available from dealers, see my post from a few days ago for a part no. cost 82p +vat

i did this to my old mk2 golf very easy to do and cheap all i did was extend the arm of the motor 12 mm and cut out a notch so the arm clears ... havent had a look at motor on my cab yet but if its bacisly the same idea should work
