So I've got a 61 plate, S Line, and want to get the silver/chrome outline of the grill in black (same colour as the car) but want to know what's best, sprayed, dipped or wrapped? Heard people saying about certain ones chipping/pealing

Whatever you do the grill will chip eventually. Try wrapping first as it's easy to change when it does chip or if you want to go back to the chrome look, which I think looks better anyway with a black car.
You can get a spray wrap which is supposed to be easy to use and if you don't like it just peel it off. Not supposed to really chip etc as it's rubbery, can even do your alloys or your entire car with the stuff if you wanted.
