Flat spot and no whoosh sound

Need advice cos I'm clueless on turbos and associated things.
First few times after getting the car back on the road the car felt like it did when I originally bought it for my son, loud whistle rapid no lag just power and starting from 2000 rpm you'd feel it pull and whistle, when giving it some you'd hear a whoosh type sound as you'd change up through the gears, Drove perfect like you'd expect a fast car to drive from the factory. Was a very well built car by the previous owner. Totally relentless smooth and refined.
Totally different to a bog standard tt I had.
Past few days I'll floor it and it'll hit a flat spot around 3000 rpm were there's no power for a second or two. And I can't hear a whoosh when changing through the gears. I've only heard it once in last few days. And it doesn't seem as quick.
All my pipes seem tight and no splits. I'm going to make a, smoke machine to test it properly.
Any other possible reasons why its gone like this?
 
All I've done is clean the meth injection nozzle cos it was blocked . It sprays a fine mist now as it should.
Meth can't have been working in the past cos the water bottle had never been filled and it still drove perfect and rapid.
After getting meth working I did think it was abit quicker but nothing major cos its pretty quick anyway so might just not have noticed the difference.
There's also a switch I've found that switches the meth on and off. It's still hits the flat spot the same regardless of it being on or off.
So I don't think it's meth related
 
Check the wastegate, potentially sticking or N75. Have you plugged in VCDS or similar to check for any codes?

These cars are getting on a bit and various things fail on them.

Lambda
Fuel pump
N75
Coilpacks
MAF

Are just a few things off the top of my head.

Best thing to do is check for codes and go from there.

Tuning Techincs on Instagram is really good. He knows his stuff. I don't know if it's far from Manchester.

Checked and looks like London.

Just found out there is, a, place fairly local to me called next tec, its part of Westhoughton vw and audi specialist.
Anyone heard of them?
He said he'll do diagnostics free of charge.

Not overly confident cos he said your map might be wrong, to which I said it ran perfectly before. Then he said he'll do diagnostics first then free of charge.

Sandip is 100% top guy, so happy to have met him. True gent.
I love the audi, but to hear sandip who has had lovely s3s and is a true audi man say mine is mind blowing is really something!
