Ok so I've got a 2004 A3 1.9tdi, and I'm running 19x8.5J ET35 alloys with 255/55R19 tyres (which will soon be 215/35).

At the minute, I'm running the standard suspension but will be installing coilovers soon. My question is, the front arches are already rubbing A LOT on the tires, and the rear rubs as well. I know I can roll the front arches as they have a lip, but the rear hasn't. Am I able to roll the rears or pull them? Or will I have to settle for some negative camber?

Your rears should be okay if you remove the rear screw and cut the arch lining back and the rears are rolled as standard, I'm running the same setup and I have had to roll the front arches to get the ride height I want, I have also filed down a metal part that sticks out quite a lot! Depends how low you are going mate! Here's my drive height

Have you any tips on removing the arch screws? And how much of the lining to cut? I'm having trouble even finding anyone to roll the front arches for me

There is a screw on the front arches at the top and on the rear arches where the bumper meets the rear quarter, I don't know if anyone will roll your arch for you mate, your going to crack the paint probably! I did it myself with an arch roller off eBay! And I cut about an inch of the rear arch lining, my cars on air and I can now roll the rear wheels with it fully aired out!

Ordered an arch roller, but in the mean time I've fitted smaller tyres! Will theses pass or fail MOT?
