Few S3 suspension questions

Guys,

I need to replace shocks & springs to the rear. Can you help with the following:

1. Is it a case of jacking up the car & slipping the springs in & out ?
2. The shocks obviously unbolt top & bottom, is a top mount required ?
3. Would there be any issues with lowering the rear by 20mm only ?

1 yes when you have undone the shocker
2 no
3 should be ok... borderline imo

I can't see there being a problem lowering by 20mm, more dependent on the size and offset of your alloys. Mines lowered more than that and have 18" TT Quattro Sport alloys, no problem at all with the ride.
