hi all

im looking to buy a dump valve for my 2001 s3. can some please point me in the right direction of which is the best to buy

Most go for Forge 007, however I went for Hyperboost Compact and had no problems since it was fitted 18 months ago. Got a good deal from AMD at the time. think it was about £70 delivered.

found this on ebay does this look like a good deal and would i need anything else to fit it

dont fit a ATMOSPHERIC DUMP VALVE to a S3 ***, fir a uprated recirc valve but pls don`t go down the atmospheric route it sounds so naff

bailey dv 30 or forge 007p i got a bailey valve and its spot on

Don't think the full atmospheric would work on the S3 as it throws up faults. You need to get a re-circ. Forge do a part/part if you want the psssssshhhhhhhttttt. Personally I think its Chavvy!

Sorry to seem dense but what is the benifit of getting an aftermarket dump valve? Is it just a longer life of the part?

i have the forge spliter valve and not to sure it sounds chavy its not like you conventional dump valve with a massive tshhhhh its quite suttle and not too loud its just enough to let bypassers no you have that all important turbo
