Drivers door will not unlock

Just after some help here,

My mums 09 8P A3 drivers door has stopped unlocking with the fob, everything works on the door if you open it up from the inside it will open from the outside but it wont initially open from the outside!

Any ideas what it could be? Door control module or door latch?

The door lock is the likely issue.

Check the door wiring loom in the door shut(middle of the door hinges) for any breakages.

Just incase a simple thing to try remove battery and replace with new one then try. If you have a cable plug in as this will tell you if you have an electrical fault ie short to ground , open circuit
