Hello all

I recently aquired a AGU a3 with a 6spd 02m from a lcr. My above mentioned problem is that the inner boot on gearbox side gets ripped after a few weeks, i'm about to change it for the third time now, and from what i know, the gearbox is slighty wider, thus the shorter driveshafts, this has the sideeffect of placing the cv joints closer to the chassis and possibly (assuming) tearing the boot, caused by engine movement.

Has anyone any experience with this? all engine mounts are new, and i thought about making a small extender plate for the gearbox dogleg mount, that should give the boot some more clearance

I think there's about 2cm clearance from the boot to chassis, maybe less
