The long arm? looks like your trailing arm your talking about.

How'd you manage you bend it?

I reversed into a kerb at speed unfortunatly and its pushed my wheel to the front of the arch

yeah its the lower arm (the big bit) should be able to get one from a breaker easy enough.

part numbers seem the same between A3 & convertable so I'd say yes.

I would also check the other suspension arms, my brother hit a kerb in my a3. Have a close look at the lower suspension arm ( the one the spring sits in) this arm has section in which is ment to buckle with the result if impact

thanks that bit seems to be fine just looks like the trailing arm thats bent
