im doing a service on my audi S3 and im gonna use the expensive NGK spark plugs and because i dont have haynes im wondering can anyone tell me what torque the plugs have to be tightened to?
im just replacing oil filter, fresh oil, air filter, fuel filter

cheers

when i was ringing round to get prices for spark plugs the NGK were a lot dearer at 7-8 pounds each plus VAT were as the bosch ones were 3pound each plus VAT. big difference! so im gona use the NGK ones, are the bosch plugs any good or similiar quality to NGK?
i would of NGK were miles better which is reflected in the price

Stick with the standard NGK plugs as spec'd by Audi.

They are circa £38 from Vagparts.com

They are: (off the box sat in front of me)

NGK Part No. PFR6Q
Audi Part no. 101000063AA
(box of 4)

spark plugs should be tightened to 30 Nm

yes NGK are better, and worth the extra.

I've had some funnies with bosch in the past.

I'm using the NGK plats but a range colder as spec'd for standard RS4/RS6...

Not conclusive but I'd say there was an improvement in constant high boost situations.

i have just tested my car on high boost (revo sps 3) and the hesitation when accelerating has completely gone which im happy about

Could someone please post a link to the site that offer the NGK plugs used by Audi....
