A4 B8 2ltr tdi Quattro rumble.

Hi, my A4 Avant is frequently suffering a very noticeable rumble when slowing down or at slow speeds, more of a feeling than a noise and not always evident. I think it may have had an occasional, very slight rumble at higher speeds, was never sure if it was the car or ropey motorways as as was very rare occurrence. Any help welcomed, thanks.

Have you tried checking the nuts on the wheels? I had something similar on mine. I got two new tires fitted then over the days following I had a rumble at low speed on occasions. Drove me mad until I just checked the nuts and they hadn't been tightened properly.

Seems daft I know but that was what it was with me.

I'll check them, had it serviced 1 week ago and done 1400 miles since. Has only just started to rumble, but worth a look, thanks.
