Hello everyone
I am new to this forum but I have been taking a back seat and going through some very impressive conversions on here .(Sarah`s audi, mattandrews and I think howdy`s a4).
I have an audi a4 2004 127k mileage ,everything is spot on .It has the split grill and would like to convert to the much modern single grill preferably s line. The steering wheel could do with an upgrade too .
I hope someone can advise on what exact parts I would need and even better if there is someone who sells them onhere.Any advise on what to be aware of or to watch out for will be appreciated.
I will be looking to overhaul the front completely going for an agressive but simple look.
Me and my mate will be doing it together once we have all the parts.
Thank you

At a guess; Wings, bonnet, front slam panel, bumper.

Thanks John. Will these parts from a 2006 s line fit in straight away? Or should I expect some trimming etc to be done at some point?

Slam panel is a swap I believe, headlights need an adapter
Bonnet is a straight fit
Wings need cutting and welded into the old wings to match the swage line
Then bumper fits on the new slam panel

Then paint

In my opinion too much money for the outcome when you could just buy a b7 especially when you already have a clean b6

Aha I see .Sounds pretty much straight forward.
I was hoping to get the parts cheap , if not then might as well upgrade to a new b7 like you say.
What about the steering? I would definitely like to upgrade it for the time being

the steering ?
or the
steering wheel ?

I have just read that the airbag could be an issue as b6 's are single while B7 's are dual.it will be interesting to see if someone has been successful with this bit .

I have a B7 wheel in my B6. Not as hard as you would think to fit it

Why would you! The B6 is far better looking from the front and identical inside other than the steering wheel :uhm:

My own opinion of course :)
