Yesterday whilst driving on dual carriageway, put my foot down to get up a hill, reached the top the car spluttered and cut out, coasted it to safety. The car will now not restart.
It cranks fine , feels like it wants to start, full tank of fuel.
Checked the usual, no pipes loose.
After numerous attempts of trying to start it I disconnected the charge sensor, then turned the key , the car started for two seconds then cut back out.
Plugged sensor back in and back to square one.
Will not fire.
I have disconnected the pipe from fuel filter and plenty of fuel comes out when cranking so pump seems to work fine.
No engine management light and no fault codes.
Just wondering if anyone can shed any light on this please
