Coilovers for 169.00 to good to be true ????

Yeah im tempted to but them just to see it says that it will improve on standard handling Im so tempted just incase i get lucky lol

joking aside, I heard from a good source that these kind of coilovers cost a little over £10 per corner to make, not somthing that screams quality IMO.

Bolser wood coilovers ? at that price you could buy 3spare sets for when they break

dont ever buy coils like that. ive done that mistake and wasted money. save a bit more and get proper coils.

Cheers everyone I usually work on the basis if its to good to be true usually is. And if you can get coilovers cheaper than springs and shocks obiously something wrong with em is imagine. Anyone know of a good source of good cheap Audi parts btw :)

I have to agree....generally if something looks to good to be true,it is.

I've had suspension from Leda, which is a decent aftermarket supplier fitted to my Sierra Cosworth, and later had a setup equivalent to Proflex on the Escort.....one cost about £1k all in,and the other was at least 4 times that, but to say that the more expensive setup was miles better is an understatement.

You do get what you pay for.
