More Points Than Portsmouth FC
Just wanted a few opinions on this (and you lot are more opinionated that most!)
Going to be putting my S3 up for sale next week as my Rallye sold today.
My S3 is on 130k, last stamped service was at 100k, was serviced at 120k by me (ex Volkswagen employee). It was converted to the 330/350bhp MTM spec at 80k by QST with full documentation. I was going to get it fully serviced (including Haldex) at a local specialist along with the Cambelt/Tensioners/Waterpump and maybe get the coil packs and MAF replaced as a precautionary measure.
Do you guys think its really worth me getting all this done? One drive in the car shows its been looked after and drives nicely, Im just a bit concerned that the milage may put people off even when there is no need for it to.
Also a bit worried about timewasters and test pilots, people seem to see a higher powered S3 for sale and just want to turn up and have a test drive of it to see what its like. Would asking to see proof of insurance for the actual vehicle and not just that they have 3rd party cover on thier own insurance be a bit of an overkill? Ive just let the Rallye go for quite a drop over what Id have ideally liked because I wanted a quick pain free sale (which I got)
Take it easy
